APEDA REGISTRATION
About APEDA Registration- The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) was established by the Government of India under the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority Act. It provides financial assistance, information, guidelines towards the development of scheduled products. The products specified under the APEDA ACT are called schedule products and exporters of such scheduled products are required register under APEDA.
Advantages of APEDA Registration:-
1. With respect to the export of scheduled products, APEDA registration is mandatory.2. Exporters can avail the various financial assistance schemes of APEDA.
3. It helps the exporters in brand publicity through advertisement, packaging development, database up-gradation and surveys etc
4. Provides guidelines to exporters about the various products and countries for export
5. Registered members can participate in training programmes organized by APEDA for various scheduled products and thereby improve their business.
List of Scheduled Products Eligible for Registration under APEDA Act:-
1. Fruits, Vegetables and their Products.
2. Meat and Meat Products.
3. Poultry and Poultry Products.
4. Dairy Products.
5. Confectionery, Biscuits and Bakery Products.
6. Honey, Jaggery and Sugar Products.
7. Cocoa and its products, chocolates of all kinds.
8. Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic Beverages.
9. Cereal and Cereal Products.
10. Groundnuts, Peanuts and Walnuts.
11. Pickles, Papads and Chutneys.
12. Guar Gum.
13. Floriculture and Floriculture Products.
14. Herbal and Medicinal Plants.
Procedure for APEDA Registration:-
1. Sign-up through the APEDA Website. (Click on "Register as Member" link on the Home Page).”.
2. The exporter require to first enter the basic detail, IE CODE, Email ID & Mobile number and submit.
3. An OTP (One Time Password) for confirming the details will be sent on E-mail and Mobile number.
4. Exporter should enter the OTP of mobile and E-mail on the verification screen to verify the both and click on Submit to proceed for application.
5. After verification confirmation, exporter will require to fill online application and upload the required documents.
6. On-line application can be completed in one or more sessions by revisiting the website using the assigned OTP (One Time Password) of E-mail and Mobile.
7. The exporter may submit registration fees of Rs. 5900/- (with GST)
8. After completion of Payment process an application number will be generated which can be used for future reference.
9. On issuance of RCMC, Login detail is sent to the registered email of the exporter. The Exporter may login in to their account through “Exporter Login” link given at APEDA website.
10. In case of any shortcoming is observed in the application the exporter will require to resubmit the document online.
Documents required for APEDA Registration:-
1. Duly signed an application form
2. Details of registered office, head office and branch office.
3. Certified copy of MOA (in case of a company) or partnership deed (in case of partnership firm) or trust deed/Memorandum of Rules & regulations (in case of trust/society).
4. Copy of Import-Export code issued by D.G.F.T.
5. Bank Certificate duly signed by the authorities
6. Bank A/c. statement of the bank account of the firm (for latest 2 months)
7. Cancelled cheque
